The all new SquashLevels is here!

We’re delighted to announce the launch of the new SquashLevels site.

Over the past 6 years, SquashLevels has steadily grown in popularity and is now used by over 25,000 players each month to monitor results and track performance and playing level.

The use of the platform has far exceeded our expectations and the site is now relied upon by teams all over the UK as an absolute measure of a player's standard. We are proud of the fact that SquashLevels has become the go-to website for monitoring playing level in the UK and it's clear that the site's popularity will continue to increase.

Over the course of 2019 we took stock of where we were and enlisted the services of a web agency to guide our development so that we can significantly improve the user experience, placing our primary focus on mobile. We are excited to share the results of this year-long project with you.

To date, SquashLevels has been a one-man band requiring a great deal of time and energy to maintain the system, the data and continue to develop the algorithms and features that allow the site to function. On top of this, there is administrative work to respond to queries, merge player histories, split player histories, correct results, add/check/maintain feeds and so on.

The task of maintaining the site has become too big for just one person and we need to expand the team over the course of 2020. This, of course, comes at a cost. We have changed our pricing model and now offer two premium membership tiers at £20 & £30 that allow players to access advanced features on the new site.

We still offer a free membership tier as well as an enhanced freemium offering for members of affiliated NGBs such as England Squash. Members of these organizations will also be entitled to a 25% saving on premium membership.

It's not a price increase per se, it's really just a more realistic price for a premium, and importantly sustainable, service. Everyone will get 30 days of free premium access to get a feel for the new site.

We are very excited about what the future holds and we thank you for joining us on the journey so far. We believe we are creating something truly significant for the squash community, that brings players together, motivates us all to get better and get back on the court and help raise the standard of squash being played within the UK.

If you have any queries or feedback please email richard@squashlevels.com.

Who’s the team behind the new SquashLevels?

Meet Richard Bickers:

Richard is the founder of SquashLevels. An avid squash player and self professed Squash geek, Richard created SquashLevels in 2015. His sole ambition for the project was to do something good for the squash community.

SquashLevels is not his full time job; he is a senior architect at Hewlett Packard and SquashLevels has been a labour of love to this date.

Meet Jethro Binns

Jethro is the founder of SquashSkills, the online squash coaching website. He recently became involved with SquashLevels after an initial meeting to discuss the synergy between the two brands. As time went on, it became clear that Jethro & Richard had complementary skill sets and the concept of the revamped SquashLevels was born.
