England Squash Membership

England Squash Members

We are pleased to announce that SquashLevels has extended its partnership with England Squash and that membership of SquashLevels is now one of the benefits of being a member of England Squash.

Your membership status

You are not logged in on SquashLevels.

What will change?

There will be a new website at es.squashlevels.com which is a version of the current website and which is tailored to England Squash members. The main features of this site will be:

  • Members of England Squash who have activated their account will have full and free membership of SquashLevels.
  • It will show the official, senior England rankings. All players in England with results on SquashLevels will have an English ranking.
  • Non-English clubs and counties will be hidden so selection lists should be shorter.
  • It will look like the England Squash website - i.e. it will be red and have similar navigation controls.
  • There will be links from the England Squash website to SquashLevels and vice versa to provide a 'single system' experience and make it easy for members to find the information they need, whether it be SquashLevels or England Squash related.
  • Single sign on. If signed in to England Squash we hope that should should automatically sign you in to SquashLevels. No personal data would be exchanged - just a trusted, encrypted token between the two systems.

If you have any suggestions on what would make a focused ES version of SquashLevels even better, do please let us know!

What will not change?

It is still the same system running the same functionality on the same data so will be fully compatible with the other SquashLevels sites. It is just focused on the most useful data and usage for England Squash members.

There will not be any personal data shared between the England Squash system and SquashLevels except, potentially, date of birth which is used only for determining age group, is stored encrypted in the SquashLevels database and is not accessible by anyone other than the SquashLevels admins. Initially, there will be no data shared between the two systems at all.

When does this happen?

The agreement with England Squash has only just happened and it will take a little while to make the first few changes on the SquashLevels system. The first change is to check your England Squash membership and if you have activated your account then you will automatically be made a full member of SquashLevels with access to all the functionality.

After that, the separate site will be created and the rest of the functionality will be added over time. We're expecting the appearance to change reasonably soon and the more complex changes to be introduced over the following 3-6 months. From your perspective, the most useful feature is the free membership and we've done that first!

What do I need to do?

To get your free membership of SquashLevels through your England Squash membership you need the following things:

  • You must be a member of England Squash.
  • You must have activated your membership of England Squash.
  • You must be a member of Squashlevels - any form of membership is fine: trial, full, admin or expired.
  • You must have your England Squash membership number entered against your player details. This can either be entered manually in your membership details or can come in with your results from a league system that records and sends your ES number to SquashLevels.

If you are already a member of England Squash and have activated your account then you will automatically get free membership of SquashLevels.

Note that this has now been implemented so you can take advantage if you are an England Squash member!

What if I am already a member of SquashLevels?

We appreciate that you may have already paid your membership to SquashLevels and are therefore a full member directly through our site. It took a little while to get the free membership working and we gave you as much notice as we could so, hopefully, if you had planned to join via the England Squash route you've been able to do that otherwise you can still sign up to SquashLevels directly.

Note that if you are in your 90 day free trial period for SquashLevels then that will automtically become full membership once you have an activated England Squash account. You will not need to pay anything to SquashLevels for this.

What if I was about to become a member of SquashLevels?

The free membership is now available via England Squash membership so you don't need to wait any longer! This, of course, assumes you are already a member of England Squash and have activated your account. If not, then now's the perfect time to join up and take advantage of all the benefits, not just the free membership of SquashLevels!
